Lake Rousseau RV Park and Fishing Resort is a year
round destination resort. Enjoy great fishing, boating,
and viewing or photographing the scenery and abundant
wildlife of the area. Or just come and enjoy the people
and the social activities of the Resort. Majestic,
ancient oak and cypress trees shade the Resort. Our
private boat ramp and docks provide easy access to
and enjoyment of the 3700 acres of Lake Rousseau.
Our two club houses, swimming pool, specialty store,
and recreational areas are designed to help make your
stay enjoyable, whether it be for just a few days,
the wonderful winter season, or the entire year. Bring
your rv or tent or stay in one of our furnished one-bedroom
rental units. The Resort's newly paved roads, which
meander through the park, provide a smooth surface
for biking and walking.For early risers, the sunrises
are a color spectacle to behold. The sunsets are equally
spectacular.Rub shoulders with blue heron, egrit,
pelicans, ducks, and other water birds that abound.
Venture out on the lake and you can almost touch the
osprey and bald eagles. Bring your camera for great
nature shots.The Resort is within easy driving distance
of many of Central Florida’s main attractions
as well as the many local natural attractions, including
viewing Manatee in their natural surroundings. It
is an easy 1 ½ hour drive from Orlando and
Tampa and 45 minutes from Ocala/Gainesville. This
makes it an easy escape weekend or week for the family
or the weary businessman or professional needing a
recharge. Lake Rousseau RV Park and Fishing Resort
is approximately 8 miles North of Crystal River. Take
Hwy 19 to Hwy 488, turn on Northcut Ave and go to
the end. The Resort is also 8 miles West of Dunnellon,
take Hwy 41 to Hwy 488, turn on Northcut Ave. and
go to the end.
Lodging
Five furnished one bedroom rental units and 2 two
bedroom mobile homes are available for those who don’t
have an rv or simply want to leave it home.
Camping
122 full hookup rv sites, situated on the park’s
12 acres, are shaded by majestic, ancient oak and
cypress trees. Some sites are pull-through. Most are
30 amp. Some are 50 amp. Separate tent sites with
electric and water. Four washrooms with ceramic tile
floors are conveniently located.
