The is a true gem of what Florida parks should be. The park sits in the heart of Destin, Florida with beautiful white sandy beach and there are 60 campsites on site. The gulf waters at this location is crystal clear most of the year offering some spectacular snorkeling and swimming. Fishing at Henderson State Park early morning and late afternoon can be good. One of my favorite things about this park is the location. There are lot activities around the Destin area also to be enjoyed.
