In the heart of Ocala, BaseLine park offers a place to relax and takes the family out for a day of fun. There is a playground area with a large field for playing ball or frisbee. It seems to be well kept up.
The Marshall Swamp trailhead can be access across from the Cross Florida Greenway’s Sharpe’s Ferry Office. It is an unpaved trail that provide access to Florida National Scenic Trail and runs almost 3 milesthrough Marshall Swamp, which is very nice, jungle like flood plain of the Ocklawaha and Silver Rivers.
